Indicators

Recently I had a standard VW head unit and 6 disc boot changer fitted to my Golf, however since it was fitted my indicators don't work! The fuses have been checked and are fine and the hazards work fine to.
Any idea why this has happened?

have you tried removing the stereo to see if they start working again?
it could be your flasher module which i believe is part of your hazard light switch; though from what I've read normally the hazards dont' work either
that tis a strange problem you've got

Perhaps you have accidentally dislodged the cable from the indicator stalk to the flasher module?? Given that the hazards work but not when you flick the stalk this seems a possibility.

Do the rest of the functions on the stalk work correctly?

Ive finally had the problem fixed with my indicators, all I had done was knocked a lead linked to the indicator but a friend checked it out and just put it back in it's place and so far it's all been good!!!
