right guys I've still got this problem with my over revving golf
can anyone tell me where this "over run cut off valve" is, if a pic I've done a search in my pdf haynes and cant find it.
the ISV is defo buzzing away nicely, the mass flow flap moves nicely, although i dont know how i can check that it isnt getting stuck?
and i've oiled up the butterflies in the air intake?
all suggestion would be grateful, i live in a quiet area and when i start my car up at night the neighbors dont appreciate it revving to 3K and sitting there, and i dont like like driving off till the temps gone up a little

also this is probably consequence of everything but my car feels super fast like over fueling all the time, i beat a mk4 r32 off the lights the other day (not sure if thats normal for mk2 16v kr vs r32), but i remember when my cousins 16v calibra used to run like sh!t of a shovel it exploded a couple of months later
