i personally don't think so.

i also think the designer at Porsche is the laziest fecker in the world!!

if you get this month's Top Gear magazine there's a pic of the Boxster from the ground; the writer comments how it looks like a Cayenne

just my 2 cents

Great car, it's just a bit sad the sort of buyer who's attracted to them these days.  Middle aged women and teenage plumbers! BMW need to make a more expensive mini to cater for them:grin:

That would depend on whether said man cuts hair for a living or not

Yes it is a man's car. It's a good car just with a crap image. I'm sure if it didn't look like it wants to be a 911, it wouldn't have that image...

Feck off - the lot of ya!!!

Round my way, the middle class ladies who lunch much prefer SLKs and hairdressers prefer TTs and Mini cabs.

That leaves Boxsters to retired gents and 30's IT consultants, accountants and solicitors like me.

Bugger  -  thats worse!!

what matters is how it drives - and the fact we can see through the image problem. besides, does any Roadster have a 'good' image?  I'd prefer a box to a Z4, slk (withstanding AMG) or TT.

Of course, given infinite spending power, I'd have a 997 GT3 or a F430. Then again, I'd still want something open topped to hoon around in - so it'd be a Boxster S.
