Right - just seen this thread!

This needs to be split into two...

A boxster is a hairdressers car without question...I had one once but only for several months as got bored with the how much for a cut comments... Seriously roadsters are quite often driven by people who are more concerned with looks over ability...if you like driving you wouldn't really buy a convertible would you? (TVR exception!) Cayman slightly different...more power, twice as stiff as a Boxster...Porsche engineers admit best handling Porker ever...only underpowered slightly with "only" 295bhp so that it doens't undercut the 997.

I have to say that as I put a deposit down on a Cayman S today for collection next week. Having driven it for a bit yesterday, it does seem to handle more sweetly than my previous two 911s.

As an aside, GTI served its purpose as a good car to have whilst I decided which route to go on the next car...it is for sale...see For Sale section...sorry shameless plug
