I've received my new coilovers - FK Highsports - for the VR6, but a buddy of mine said it would be a decent idea to replace the suspension top mounts too. I guess a couple of rubber cups can't cost that much, so I may as well.
Anyway, I can't seem to figure out exactly which parts I'm after.. :embarassed: Since most of the parts sites don't bother providing pictures, or even particularly good descriptions. gsfcarparts.com lists a "STRUT TOP MOUNTING KIT" (part no: 45737K, link:https://secure.gsfcarparts.com/shop/results.asp [but I guess the link might fail since it's https]) for a VR6 (well, for all golfs of that age - mine's a 95 - but I wouldn't expect this component to change between models anyhoo) which I assume is the right one, but I don't know if that's all four of them, or just the front, or what. I'll send them an email but I suspect I'll get a quicker response here!
So:
Is this what I want? If not, any suggestions?
Do I really need to bother replacing them, or is that just overkill?
I'll be trying to get them done at the weekend, with the help of some mates who've done this before.

[EDIT] Oh, it's a Mk3 VR6 - forgot to mention..
