steering tremor?

did we get a solution for this, i've suddenly developed the same problem and have had the wheels balanced and the pads changed...............................don't you just hate it when people don't post back about if how they resolved the problem

have you checked the steering rack/column bushes or even something stupid like the tyre pressures

I had the same problem, have you got a fat boy sat in the back?

Get rid of him, that will cure it!

sorted!!! took the driveshafts off today and found one of the cv's had a "tight" spot on it, took one off another car we are breaking (no steering tremor when i drove it in!!), fitted it to mine and sucess!! am i chuffed or what.

don't you think it took me long enough?!!!! lol , i've gone bald in the time its took me to sort it and it helps having a load of scrap golfs lying around to plunder, sorry substitute parts from. heavens, i may just make it to e38 yet.
