MK4 Golf rear Speakers
« on: 05 May 2006, 10:22 »
Both me and the gf have a mk4 golf and neither of our rear speakers work...i've looked at the wiring connected to my headunit and theres no wires going to the rear speakers, is this normal on these models or has some previous owner butchered the wiring? BTW both cars are 1.4s...

any help appreciated, jack

if you had a beta unit then you won't have any rear speakers I'm afraid mate - i don't think they had the outputs for them.

only way to be sure is to shine a light into the speaker grille and or take off the door card!! i think its only 4-6 Torx 20 screws  :undecided:
