My GTI is awaiting shipment in Germany - Anyone know when it should arrive?

I think paint protection is definetly worth it - cost me £245 but as Doc found out, you can haggle on the price

mine also had build week 13! however my stealer has not got a clue what time or at what stage it is at, all he says is it should be hear by end of April! feel a bit disappointed by the lack of knowledge and communication! hope it is on the same boat as yours

Well if it is a week 13 build then I would expect it to be coming at the same time as mine... Your Stealer sounds like a W a n k e r  which unfortunately a lot of them are.  I have only heard good things about a very few Stealers including my own - Wolsey of Ipswich - which is why I ordered a GTI from them.  Otherwise it would have been the import route for me.  At the end of the day you are spending £22k+ on a car with them and they don't appear to really care.. not a good sign.

i agree particularly as i bought my wife a beetle there only 3 months ago! last time i will be buying from them!

The stealer should know what stage your car is at cause all he has to do is put your details in the database.  He does sound like a t@sser.  As soon as my stealer has found out any info on my car he has let me know whats going on.

When a car shows as awaiting ship it should be with you within 14 days but there can be exceptions. VW incorrectly changing its status on the screen for example. Alot will depend on how busy your dealer is as well in terms of turning it around when it arrives. They'll be keen to get it out asap anyway because they want your money.....
