My GTI is awaiting shipment in Germany - Anyone know when it should arrive?

He said he would do it for anyone with a new VW in the Merseyside area for £100!

He will travel outside of Merseyside but the price goes up!

eg. Manchester £130, London £250, Midlands £175 just ask and I will get you a quote!

He has all the kit in the back and can wash etc anywhere!

ITS HERE!!!!!!!!! 

Rang up the local stealer today for some parts and thought I might as well talk to my Sales Exec who is dealing with my GTI order and see when it is due to leave Germany and he told me it had arrived this morning! I got up and left work straight away to inspect it - heard too many nightmare stories of damaged cars... It was there parked in the depot in all its glory in the rain.   Haven't got the money to buy it this week  but will have next week

By the way VW Main Dealer... you are one of the few exceptions amongst VW Dealers to actually show some care and thought for your customers... If I knew where your dealership was I would be there for my part-ex later this year. As for other dealers, Wolsey Ipswich have been very good with me and I hear consistently good things about a dealer off the M25 near Essex - may be the one opposite Tescos on the A12 but I am not sure.  So main dealers aren't all bad... just most of them

Dealer phoned this morning to say that the GTI will be delivered next tuesday and I will be able able to pick it up on Wed .  This is gonna be the longest week of my life

Excellent    I am collecting mine next Friday.  Would love to have been able to take it now but waiting on some money - trying to pay for it in one go...  The Stealers did make one last ditch desperate attempt to lure me into taking out finance but I politely declined saying  that the car itself was costing enough and I didn't want to give them £5k extra.    Just hope I have it all next week... sweating on it a bit but should be ok

it's alright mate, i wasn't offended. Your skin gets very thick doing this job!

Glad to hear you have got good service from some dealers. People like people and if you speak to a dealer sensibly, they'll be the same back.  We're just doing a job after all
