Removing/Changing Speakers in Mk2 Door Pockets
« on: 08 April 2006, 12:18 »
I dare say this question has already been asked, but I need to change the speakers in my door pockets and was wondering how to get them off. Can I just remove the pockets to access the speaker screws or does the whole card have to come off?

Undo the screw at the bottom of the speaker pocket, that will come off, there should be little black bung type things holding the speaker, pull those off, then you can put a 13cm speaker in, put the bungs back on and screw it back into the card.

Job done

be carefull when pulling the adaptor away from the pocket as I've snapped 1 of the little tabs of both sides when removing them.
