topped it up and it still flashes on and off, after about 7 miles?

its the water coolant light next to the battery light.


really starting to annoy me know! :(

Mine was doing this, I had to overfill the coolant to stop it flashing.  I think I filled it until the expansion tank was about half full

Check the warning switch on the coolant tank with a multimeter.

Yep , try changing the tank over if you can get a cheap one, or just test the switch for resistance.

If the coolant isn't boiling up then i wouldn't worry.

an even easier answer and one you seem to have failed to try is to remove the sender wire from the coolant expansion tank and just bridge the terminals with wire or a paperclip.

does the light still flash?

sorry bit thick, bridge them on the plug, and the light should come on and stay on?
