Arrgh, some guy just wrote off my mkII

Not a good day! After all the years looking after my GTi 8v MkII, some guy totals it in a second. I am pretty sure it will be a write off and be lucky to get a grand for it. I am not too sure of the value, but obviously i want all i can get. It was a very tidy nice running car, 3dr helios blue. I certainly wont be able to get a replacment. Any of you ever had to get write off money? (any tips for would be appreciated).

Another tip I dont know if you know but you don't have to accept first offer from insurance company. You can say you feel the car is worth more.

make sure you do get checked out, you may have a claim for some compensation if you have any sort of injuries

sorry to hear that mate, hope you are ok. on a serious note, you should def go to hosp, could be mild concussion. how fast was accident?

definatly go to hosp cause my ex got banged from behind (no gags please) in her old fiesta got mild whiplash and managed to get ?2500 out of it, but you do have to be patient though it took about 5-6months b4 she got the cheque, but worth the wait i suppose!
