ah well least it's individual :laugh: it's a good way to pass the last hour at work anyway! only a mk3 would need such a heavy and powerefulish engine to lug it's fat ass around!!!

There isn't a rhd mk2 that does 0-60 in less than 8 seconds, oh dear that is SLOW  :laugh:

I'd go for the mk2 myself, but have you thought about a mk2 16v? That's what I've got now, tho I did have a mk2 with a mk3 16v engine in - fast as hell and loads of fun!! 0 - 60 in about 6.5 seconds, topped out around 150mph. Personally I'd say look for a mk2 16v, they look way cooler than the mk3's, and they're still pretty damn quick. Cheaper to insure than a mk3 too
