Can you help!!!!

I want to lower my MK3 golf gti, I know the way is coilovers but thats £Â£Ã‚£Ã‚£Ã‚£Ã‚£'s

I'm aiming to make the wheel arch meet the top of the wheel's, I think the front needs to be more than the back. but not going under the arch.
I was thinking eibach springs which I think lowers it 35mm on existing shocks but is that lower enough? I have 17" alloy's and 45 profile tyres.
I don't know what to go to 35mm, 40mm..........
does any one have any pics of the similar setup?

if I were to go for coilovers excluding Koni's what would be a good choice? FK's??

I lowered my driver 60mm and the tyres were sitting nicely in the arches.

If you can, always replace the shocks with uprated shorter ones... coilovers aren't too expensive either, found some on venom for around £300 inc. vat

mine is lowered 40 mil on 17s with 40 profile tyres and ends up lookin good. arches follow the shape of the wheel perfectly in my opinion front and back. also have verry little rubbing, only happens when iv got 3 fatties in the back  :tongue:and thats not often!

thanks mate...   what setup did you use? did you just change the springs? and what make were they?

cant remember what set up it was, but its shocks and springs. would never just get springs done, the shocks will only nackar out quicker and then youl need to uprate them so may aswell get them as a kit while its cheaper. would be worth a look at wherever dom saw that set of coilovers for 300 quid though. could be a good way to go
