Hi,
New here,great site and have been reading for hours

,I bought my 98' 2.0 Cab coming on for 2 weeks ago now.
When i viewed the Golf it was running real bad,i put a set of new plugs in and patched the well known knackered breather pipe,then it seemed almost perfect,i replaced the offending breather pipe and cleaned the attaching areas

,thought all will be fine,then in the following days after pipe being fitted,i was having the low revs and dieing at junctions and when dipping the clutch,hence me coming across this site

After reading i thought no problems,ill go out this morning and get some carb cleaner and clean out the throttle body,but the car wouldn't start

,i checked for fuel on the plugs(they were wet),then checked for a spark,no spark at the plugs.
It seems there is no power coming to the Coil(checked with volt meter),so i think the Coil maybe fine,im starting to think the Immobiliser has decided to kick in,i removed the battery power,Damn bad move no i get the inicators flashing allround as if the alarm has activated,but with no siren

I have only one key and no key for the alarm overide?,i have replaced the Ecu relay no30 i believe,the fuel pump seems to be working fine when ignition is switched,had it Vag-Com'd some days before it dieing on me this morning,2 faults came up temp sender and Mass air flow.
Temp sender has been replaced,im putting the mass air flow down to the sh** that was in the TB,i need to find out someway of either
by-passing the alarm and immob,rang up Main stealer they are not willing to help me out on the wiring diagram front,i guess they want some labour out of me

Im gutted ive got a 85 Mk1 Gti Cab with like 160k on it and its never let me down(but had its faults),this mk3 thing had got 70k on it and im having a right nightmare,thought the mk3 was a good wise decision to get as a family car and for comfort value

Sorry for the silly long post,i have read as much as my head can take i need help,i have searched high and low for some way of getting round the immob hoping this is my problem,i think one user(golf-vr6) on here has had the same trouble and a fellow forum member(not active i believe) done some sort of by-pass wiring.
