hi all
  just a quick note iv been looking on some of the pic's of the very sexy cars on the site and i was going to give a smoothed tail gate a try ?but i don't know where i will be able to get some fiber glass stuff to do it with???
 can you help

fibre glass from any good autofactors even halfrauds do it.

however i would pick up a tailgate from a scrappy so you can practice first.

There are differing types, but i cannot for the life of me remember what one's they do (and i work there...... oh the shame) 

Should be down the body fillers isle, although if you are going to ask someone then make sure its someone who knows what they are talking about in there, cos i get called all over the place in my branch cos i am the one that knows the most about cars.

most people weld a plate over the recess first to stop the filler from bowing
