fault codes. Dump valve....1.8T
« on: 26 February 2006, 01:06 »
1.8T AUG engine

what do these fault codes mean exactly?....

17608 (P1200)---Unknown trouble codes

17705 (P1297)---Unknown trouble codes

17545 (P1137)---Unknown trouble codes

i know the first one is the dump valve which is faulty.

Did that cause a chain reaction and set off the other fault codes if you know what i mean?

how much are standard dup valves from VW stealerships?

Standard dump valves are about £16 and i'll take a look in to the codes for you in a minute.  If i were you tho, I'd use it as an excuse to buy a bailey/forge
