Best Inductionkit/Filter

Hey guys, first post! what is the Best Inductionkit/Filter for under £100? for a 1.8T golf. Are induction kits a nogo with this engine? I quite fancy 
something that will make the turbo more audiable. Or is a panel filter best?

People will recommend a panel filter on the 1.8t, but if you want more noise then induction is the way forward.  There are loads for about £100, I got ram air on mine and it works fine :wink:

Just don't get a filter which is oil based, as this will eventually clog up your MAF sensor.

You have a RamAir induction kit or panel ? Also, which Induction kits are oil based? Green? K&N?

my mate got a 2.o gti and has a k&n fliter, he has loads of bother with his air mass!!

he's on his 3rd in 18mths!!

cheaper to get rid....but he likes the noise...must be mad

Induction, been on there for 15 months and I ain't changed a MAF yet :cool:
