exactly quality not quantity!
This is what my install consists of:
Kenwood cd unit Z838W with 2X 10 disc changers
Kenwood slave unit KMD-601
Kenwood processing unit
PS2 acts as dvd also
3X Infinity front components
2X Infinity components for rear trims
2X infinity 6X9S in rear stealth shelf
3X 4.5" screens (2 in rear headrests)
2X 10,000 kicker solabarics
5 genisis amps
Kicker crossover

so wot do u think now?

Did I touch a nerve there? If you read my post properly, then you cannot fail to realise this was a general statement, and not a direct snipe at you.  
As for all that in a nova!!! well, I know you say you have money to burn, but then money cant buy taste - only kidding. You'd be better of putting it in your golf, at least the doors would stay on

Is that a new world record - I'm sure the previous was closely contested at around 140-150db

I think the official record stands at about 162 db give or take a decibel.

Baring in mind db's are logarithmic, for every three db's you effectively double the volume.

That would make Mr (or Mrs) Novadose's  stereo about 200 times louder than the current world record holder.

Impressive.

I havent entered it into a sound off yet just got it checked by some twit at southend, didn't beliveve it myself when he told me, gonna get it checked out properly from proffesional. wondered why everyone laughed at me when i told them!  :-[

an increase of 30 db ( say 162 to 192) is in effect 1000 times the volume - logarithmically speaking

3 db - double volume
10 db - 10 times volume
20 db - 100 times volume
30db - 1000 times volume

WOW if you crank it up, I may be able to hear you from here!!!
