well basically, yes i did hack da original door pods lol, made an mdf ring the size for my speakers and positioned it into the posiition i wanted with bits of mdf using a glue gun. then i got sum fleece and stretched it over the build and stapled and glue gunned it down. then i applied some resin all over the fleece to make it go solid (i got the resin in a fibreglass kit from halfords). then once that was all solid i started applying P40 body filler all over the fleece to give a more smooth and curvy shape. i kept applying layers off filler and lots of sanding!! then i primered and painted it matt black for tempory as i was impatient to wait and buy material lol! simple! good luck!
