starter motor on way out ?????????

sometimes (quite often) when i turn the key i get a loud sharp ckckrwrrrkcccrrrrr (crunch?)

turn key again, same again

turn key again, she starts, yey!

so, starter on way out? or something else?  (checked battery - 12.51volts)

yer sounds like the starter is sticking, try taking it off and throughly cleaning it, don't grease it etc should just be lean

If that fails it new starter time, not the cheapest thing though but you don't really want one to jam on you as it can cause all sorts of problems
