As the title suggests, what do you think could be the cause.
the engine has just been rebuilt, with a 2.0L 8v bottom end, here are my thoughts....
1. The oil pump is a high pressure one & is forcing the oil out
2. The breathers have been blocked off in the block & this is causing mass back pressure
3 The rings have gone in the bottom end (but it doesn't smoke at all

)
p.s. the oil being forced out of the cambox is ending up on the mainifold & burning NICE!
