i didn't realise there was a kit? thought there was just carb cleaner in a spray thing that you use?

Any motor shop will do it! Can pick up cheap stuff at carboots..., like 50 tins for £2...   :laugh:

Just buy Carb Cleaner in a can (like WD40 size can)  :smiley:
Its better to remove and strip Carb to clean each jet and moving part.
If you'v got compressor then use it to blast all the sh@te out the port holes, etc. If not then take a dep breath and blow down the jets.

nah, i want to replace the gaskets too, dont wanna risk one splitting, that would take the biscuit, got carb cleaner, great stuff that :cool:

Can get Carb Gasket Kit from GSF. Dont know how much they are tbh.  :undecided:

Have a look on the Carb housing somewhere, it must have a number or something?  :undecided:

Just spray most ofd a tin into the top of the carb whilst the engine running, that will clean most if not all of the crap out of it and the engine!

If you have your heart set on stripping it make sure you have plenty of manuals so you know how to put it back together again after, the Haynes carb manual is a must :)
