New Mini
« on: 07 November 2003, 23:05 »
Anyone know the spec of those new mini's. I just had one leave me for dust on the sliproad of the M25 and couldnt believe the power of it.

I wasnt trying too hard myself but that little thing definately seemed to have some serious BHP.

I don't think the mini would beat the vr6 if you put your foot down. I left a mini cooper supercharged for dead in my dads old audi 90 quattro(170 bhp), but it was going round a steep bend!

Mini Cooper = 115bhp (0-62 in 9.2s)
Mini Cooper S = 163 bhp (0-62 in 7.4s)
S Works (Supercharged) = 200 bhp (6.7s)

Cooper S is 14,600

'Works' conversion is another 3,500.

So 18,100 all in.

And that's without the body kit and massive rims.
