oopies

how you manage that?
you gotta think is it worth it, depending on the circumstances it may be easier having new car to play with again.
im not the best to speak but im guessing 'the daddies' (rub, slick etc...) are goin to say u cant tell without looking at it. sounds bad tho...

Don't want to be a merchant of doom, but that sounds pretty terminal.  Is it 3 or 5 door?  If the driver's door won't shut that would indicate further chassis damage (in my totally unprofessional opinion!) and a crease in the floorpan is never good.

Time to break it and start saving!?

Not good mate!
Mine would be a write off aswell if i went through the insurance!
It depends how bad it is, panels are easy to replace, but if the underside of the car is bent it might not pass an MOT or could be unsafe to drive?
When it is damaged is a weak point now.

Duh yeah just remembered, when my mum had rear end in her Astra apart from wrecked bumper all you could see was tinyweeny crease in boot floor - but that ended up costing £2400 (whole chassis fooked). Which was ok for £14k car on someone elses insurance but for a mk2 golf.... uh oh.

I bent my car after i hit a kerb sideways!
Bent wishbone, wheel, strut, bonnet, smashed arch, bumper, and cracked the dash!
Underneath is slightly bent but not that noticable unless you know what your looking for!  :smug:
