Hey guys ive had a pretty good offer for a stand alone monitor and Dvd player. firstly how can i connect them toghether and get the sound thru my stero althou i dnt think ive got an aux on the back of it. but have got RCA.

If you have an RCA input then use that. If you dont have them then you can use an fm modulator which sends the sound to a set fm radio station.

The RCAs are likely to be pre-outs.
if you tell me what radio you have I can tell you if there's a AUX input adaptor availible to save using a FM mod.
