if you have a slimline ps2 we can get adators that replace the power supply used in the house. If you have the older, larger ps2 you'll need an invertor to convert 12v into 240v.

you'll want to wire this onto a switch so you can remotely turn it on and off from the dash. then all you need is a monitor to display the picture and some headphones for the kiddy. If you want to run the sound through the speakers you'll need some sort of AUX input or a FM modulator.

I recently did a PS2 Slimline install in a Mk4 Escort, used the PS2 in glovebox, used a power inverter to bring power to 12v, switch was set in glovebox above PS2, A free standing 7.5" Sony removable Screen on dash, but we wanted to run sound through speakers but Headunit didnt have an Aux facitlity so used an FM Modulator and tuned in sound from PS2 to 88.7hz i think? All in all, for TV, (excellent quality) £300, FM Modulator £45, and Power Inverter £40. Playstation was already bought.
Bit expensive but well worth it for quality.

the cheaper FM modulators are known for poor signal. our are about £100 and they're spot on. all depends what you want to spend on it.

if you have a radio by kenwood or a alpine on with ai-net and want something a little special they do boxes which allow you to connect a changer, ipod and AUX input all through the headunit. it's a nicer way to wire it all up. :)

That is very true Dizzie, there is a lot of interference with the Modulator i used, when playing game or DVD you have to have volume up quite loud but sometimes get drowned out by snowstorm sounds in background.
