if its anything like mine then it'l take an age...one of the bolts has been rounded off in the past and i can't get the thing off!! if it wasn't rounded off it wouldn't take long tho...depends if you got power steering or not..without it would be a piece of p!ss...prob an hour...counting tidying up afterwards

I wouldn't drive it, if the bearings are on the way out it is always going to risk blowing at the completely wrong moment and screwing your engine up.

Replacing a water pump should be fairly straight forward, just drain the system, remove the 3 bolts (i think) that hold it in then slot it out from under the car. Again just reverse to get it back in. Although i would personally allow myself about 3 hours to do it in, just so i was sure that it was all correct and i didn't feel like i needed to rush.

definatly don't drive it if it's noisy, sure to let go when your stuck in traffic

you will also have to swap the pully over and the bottom hose connector...think that holds a thermostat  :undecided:

you will need to TDC it though, just as a precaution.
