8.5 - 1st oil change

quoted 120 pounds for first oil change at 7.500km, does that sound about right?  I see that the engine takes between 5-7 litres, anyone who's had their oil changed at the dealers, do they also change the filter if it's just oil change and not full service?

Yes, they will change the filter. An oil service will always include it.

actually they said no filter needs changing at 7.500 km, they have that down for the 15k service

any particular reason for that except running as clean an engine as possible?  dealers are not known for holding back on whatever they can charge you for, and in this case it seems as per factory guidelines oil filter does not need changing at 7500km.  I've always followed factory intervals for everything service-related, but maybe i'm missing something in this instance?

I change my oil and filter every 6 months and I do less than 5K a year. Over the top? Totally but I’m old school and it keeps me happy😀
