Car App Unlocking

Hey,

Just had my Discover Media unlocked for full use of Car App.

VW wanted to charge me £225 for the SD Card and then £25 to install it.

I found a company online, here in the UK, which sold me the activator for £69.99

David, answered all my questions, and on arrival, loaded it, onto the car. Within 10 minutes, I had full Android Auto or Apple Car Play and full functionality.

I'm made up, and saved me a pretty penny.

Works faultessly.

Just to add to this thread. I did this for free myself on my car just following this YouTube guide and software linked in the vid description. It did cross my mind this could a virus ridden disaster that would brick my car, but I was feeling brave!

The video guide says you need OBDEleven, but I did it without, the software notes do say it just works and it did. I just did the software update with an SD card, it took about 15 mins all-in. Works a treat, have fully working Android Auto. Ive not tried Car Play as I don't have an iPhone.
