Dent and access to fix?

So, a seagull has dropped a fat ball from a great height and dented the side of quarter panel above the fuel filler cap. Does anyone know the best access point? Up through wheel arch? Dent guy coming tomorrow so just looking for best access. It could be hot glue pulled but as I've got PPF I would probably need to get that replaced (this will be last resort)

Ouch, sorry to see that. Might get better and easier access by removing the fuel filler flap and the rubber insert which come out together.

Found this video on YouTube - the video is of a mk7 Estate, but I dare say the area behind the rubber insert will be similar on both the hatch and the estate.

I used to use a paintless dent remover guy that once glued sticks to a quarter panel dent and pulled it out - superb results.

I can't go hot glue way as I've got PPF and would need to have the side don't again. Obviously I will if I have to buy looking to avoid.

Most of the PDR guys seem to get their work from dealers.
It was quite difficult to find someone but rheir work for me was superb.
About 3 years ago and a home call but £90 I will never regret.
I just wish I could have sent the arsehole who slammed open their door against my rear wheel arch the bill!!

Excellent, cheers for the video. Wasn't exactly sure if that bit came out but cheers. I'm guessing you can leave the flap on without I clipping it and still remove the rubber surround?

the guy I've got coming out does a lot of the Mercedes dealerships apparently.

#1 is women drivers. Sorry, but it is!
#2 is SUV drivers. WTAF do you need to be driving these things for? You are not a farmer!!!!!
