I placed my order for a clubsport on 30/12 at my local dealer, they matched the DTD price without any hesitation so I was happy. They initially quoted upto 18 months delivery due to the (historic) delivery issues but I suspect it's just they they haven't had a lot ordered.

I'm hoping it appears before the end of March, the dealer signed me up to the email notifications so it's been nice to see the different stages being confirmed.

I've gone with DCC, HK sound and curtain airbags. I've currently got a manual mk7.5 PP so actually feeling a bit of pain with leaving manual.

Just had confirmation that mine is going into build w/c 3rd March, ordered 8th December. Probably won’t be here before the tax increase on 1st April though but it is what it is I suppose.

That seems like a very long time to get to a build if you ordered before Christmas.

I ordered a factory fresh high spec GTI on the 10/8/2024, and collected on the 24/10/2024, far quicker than anyone predicted.
