UK Carline just emailed me today, car is with the Dealer, they are letting me know about delivery very shortly.. I still might hold on for a delivery in March as i want a 25 plate...

Car was driven up from Group 1 VW in Stafford

230 miles added onto the car
Foot well full of dirt and debris
Sweet wrappers in the footwell of the rear seat
Vehicle outside was quite dirty but the roads are horrific.

Sent an email regarding the mileage as I was under the impression it would be trailered and the interior left in the condition.

I've since had to vacuum and wipe down everything.

Not a great start of I'm honest.

so stafford there being driven from ? about 262miles onto mines then.

doesn't sound good guy just flinging sweet wrappers everywhere and dirty inside would expect the car to be dropped off clean !
I also went with urano definetly wish I had just went for the white now hoping it looks better in person than in photos.

Let us know an update with what they say about the dirty car

That's shocking service. Mine is coming next Tuesday. When i had my A3 delivered, it had 120 miles on it for delivery, but the chap from Audi was very good, he washed it just outside my local village and it was spotless inside. I'd 100% make a big complaint, and don't let them palm you off either, they should at least pay for a full tank for you imo and pay for it valeting.

I had Urano Grey on my Mk7 Golf GT TDI, it looks very nice when clean and the brighter weather gets on it. I've ordered Urano again. You won't be disappointed.

Mines coming from Stockport to Wakey so not too far (60 miles). Just had to delay delivery to next Friday as can't send old car back until Thurs next week and insurers being a mare trying to cover both on my policy temporarily..

If was ordering a new car, I would jump on a train and go pick it up rather than have it delivered. Better to check it over at the garage you are buying from rather than some oppo dropping it off.
