Have you ordered an 8.5 ?

I have ordered a GTI 265ps in Pure White with DCC and Area View Camera. It's a lease vehicle and my current car is not due back until Feb 2025, so planning on delivery in Feb/March 2025 hopefully!

Had an email from the dealer today to say mine is now in the country. Arrived at Emden on 11th, so that's pretty good going.

I popped in to our local dealer today to see if they had taken delivery of an 8.5 GTI.

I’m picking it up in 48hrs time. That was not the plan but there you go, some good deals out there right now.

Black with estorils.

New infotainment seems to be a vast improvement over the 8.

Looking forward to it.

Congrats, was it a southern dealership? i saw a black GTI with estorils as available on the VW website.. rang the dealer and they advised its not meant to be down as for sale as its a customers car :|

Ha ha yes, it’s the only one advertised on A/T with Estorils. They expect higher spec cars to drive December/January.

Is the “black pack” still an inexplicably high price on the UK configurator? If so, anyone spec’ing it should definitely query it strongly! It was on the Irish configurator at a silly €1600 but they’ve updated the price list and configurator today and it’s now a much more sensible €243. The old price was clearly not right and it’s probable that they were charging on the double for the matrix lights.
