My motor is has been overfuelling like mad ever since i've had it so i got my haynes out and found were the air/fuel mixture screw is....

BUT it isn't even there!!!!!!!!! 

No f***ing wonder the thing dosn't run right!

The question i have is were can i get a screw from? Breakers or can i use a standard size screw and just make a screwdriver slice in the top??

go to a scrappy and look under every golfs bonnet until you find the same engine as yours and then take the screw, its free

are you sure your allen key is long enough to reach it? it needs to be about 5inch long to reach it!!
