Gonna stay put with the CS it’s looking like a bargain now at the low 30s i paid for it.
Ditto James
It’ll probably be a “good riddance” to your cars from yourselves Stuart and buttons. No car is for everyone.
I gelled with the mk8 really quickly much to my surprise as I expected to dislike it.
I actually like the minimalist interior and when I borrow my son’s 71 plate Ibiza on occasion I don’t find the buttons for the climate control etc any easier than the screen and dash pod touch pads.
Real buttons on the steering wheel would be nice as I hate haptic pads but the centre screen is quite good for myopic old gits like myself with decently sized icons.
Yep, the random bings and bongs get on my tits, the lack of illuminated volume control is daft, plus I do try not to change too many settings on the fly anyway for safety reasons, and the voice control is worse than useless in the mk8. Plus the looks are a bit iffy from some angles (being polite), but… generally I like the car very much.
All the best for your next cars Stuart and buttons, they’re expensive purchases so it’s important that they give you what you want out of them.
