hi there just noticed this morning there was a puddle of fuel on the garage floor roughly were the passenger seat is any ideas

sorry the rear seat , it also had a new fuel pump and fuel pump module fitted last September any ideas  :cry: :sad:

Sounds like either the lift pump/sender unit has been fitted incorrectly, the feed or return pipe has come off, or there's a leak from the fuel lines or tank itself maybe?

Not sure if this applies to a MK7, but on a MK6.
If you remove the rear seat base and remove the fuel pump/sender unit access panel you may be able to see the problem.
