As the box is quite narrow at 60cm, if you recline the front seat and rest the box on the top of the dashboard with a towel underneath to protect the dash top, it should be close to fitting.

So if the 60cm width of the table will fit in a mk7 Golf without impeding the driver’s ability to control the car, then the 2.0 metre length shouldn’t be an issue. I’d ensure I switched off the passenger side airbag if transporting anything that has to rest on top of the passenger side of the dashboard though.
