Have you considered a TCR? Lots of them have sunroofs and DSG is standard. I know they don't come in the colours you want but the grey is popular, just saw one on Autotrader, 19 reg with Reifnitz and sunroof, 11k miles for £28995. They have better front brakes, a decent power hike, nicer interior (personal preference of course but you get 'GTI' embossed seats, alcantara on the seat sides and door cards, plusher material to cosset your bottom and lashings of pleather), with the Reifnitz you also get DCC, upgraded 5mm lower suspension, 8" wide wheels with 235 tyres to fill the arches better and a higher top speed. There's also a nice lip on the rear spoiler and gloss black sill extensions, splitter and the huge rear diffuser, I love the looks of all those extras. And there are so few of them around, you will rarely see another! The exhaust note is great too, a bit more noise without it being excessive. All the sort of bits and bobs that would be nice to mod a GTI P with but as standard! Well worth considering and with the performance, I'd say a bit of a bargain

I can relate to this,
Alloys give a good indication as to whether the cars been kept on the road and kerbed when parked on the street rather than a private drive and looked after .
Wife looked at quite a few R lines recently main dealer stock inc ,they were all not as i would expect or my idea of what i call very good condition .
She purchased a 5 k mile Main D Polo gti instead

This ^^^^

There were a whole load of GTIs and TCRs that came off the lines towards the end of production that had pano roofs and were on sale as low mileage used towards the end of last year. Presumably staff lease cars etc.
There seem to be a few remaining TCRs around at decent prices with pano roofs and 18” wheels right now.

These TCRs aren’t massively more expensive than regular newish GTIs and offer so much of a more rewarding ownership experience. From small touches such as trim inside and the way the lower body additions making the car look so much more ground hogging, to the extra hardware which are in a different league and yet still retain the GTI character without making it feel like a step down from an R (which it can go toe to toe with whilst feeling more special).

Oh, and get a white one
‘25 8.5R, ‘23 8R, ‘20 8CS, ‘19 135iX, ‘19 TCR, ‘17 Ed40, ‘17 GTD, ‘15 7R, ‘13 GTI PP, ‘11 GTI, ‘09 GTI, ‘98 Ibiza Cupra, ‘05 GTI, ‘06 Polo GTI, ‘04 GT TDI, ‘05 Fabia vRS, ‘02 GTI T, ‘03 Ibiza TDI 130, ‘01 Leon 180, ‘89 mk2 16v, ‘99 Ibiza TDI, ‘96 VR6, ‘98 Ibiza TDI, ‘92 VR6, ‘88 mk2 8v, ‘92 Polo G40, ‘91 mk2 8v, ‘89 mk2 8v, 205 GTI 1.9, ‘83 mk1 GTI, ‘80 Scirocco GTI, plus some others I’ve forgotten

Did see a an Indium Grey one come up today at a fantastic price. The one morning I haven't checked Autotrader in about 5 weeks and by time I rang the dealer it had gone
