Yer I've got OBD11, but not able to clear fault. I've also got my first MOT due next month, so not sure if it will fail, due to the faults on the dash ??

Unfortunately dash warning lights are an MOT failure now.

Yer thought as much, I'll need to get it booked in with VW  :(   I wouldn't mind if I used it but never on a motorway..lol

Why not try a decent bodyshop, they may be cheaper than VW.
My car is at an independent bodyshop at the moment (after a bump) and they can do all the sensor re-alignments and calibrations as part of their repairs.
Just an idea?

Too be honest, that's a really good idea. I'm off work this week so I've got some time to look.

Right, So a quick update for you guys.   I have two local dealerships TRUST GROUP. I rang both as mentioned b4 to get an idea on price for re calibration.  Both said 220.00 plus vat.    Booked in with Stourbridge branch, dropped my car of night b4 (Tuesday) to be done today (Wednesday). At the service desk get told by the procedure (How long it takes 2.5 hours) to do it with the equipment.  Quote (This will cost at total of 440.00, which includes 60.00 for diagnostic report).

I said NO i was told over the phone by YOU and YOUR other branch £220.00. (Spoke to Service manager he agreed to match there price) so £250.00 all in

I had a video (heath check) from the technician at the dealers this morning at 8.22am saying been put in front of machine to realign ALL DONE ... They start work at 8.00am. The video shows the car in front of the equipment BUT the equipment has covers over it, The technician saying is all been realigned.

I went down to collect and guess what  YES I get a bill for 250.00. I asked them to justify the price and explain how the technician had got the car in removed the grill. connected the system (mirrors, laser) and adjusted the Radar then put it all back together in 20 mins. As they had told me it took 2.5 hours. ..... Turns out there technician started the job at 6.30am .................LOL

I Really don't know how these guys sleep at night

Sounds more like they have set zero in software after seeing the sensor isn't visibly out of whack... I've got a load of old rope here if anyone wants to give me some cash for it...

Stourbridge Volkswagen is one to avoid. They tried to sell me a clutch for over a grand when there was nothing wrong with mine, a simple adjustment to gear linkage resolved the issue.
Far too many similar stories from there.

hiding behind gdpr legislation which is total nonsense. Claims your dashcam will see other people's reg plates while in the workshop  When I challenged Pulman on it I said I can see other people's reg plates right now in the car park so what's the difference, no answer. If a garage has nothing to hide then they shouldn't be asking for dashcams to be turned off.
