Are you using the 18” Belvedere wheels still?
Rather than lower the car and risk hitting the splitter or having a harsh ride I’d try spacers first as these will visually help the wheels fill the arches better.
Go 11 or 12mm front and 15 to 20 (per side) on the back if using 7.5x18 ET49 wheels.
