Carista allows you to lengthen the time you need to pull the screen washer stalk to fire the headlight washers. Maximum is 2.5 seconds, which is what I set mine to. You also have the option to change the number of screen wash pulls between headlight washes. I set mine to every pull so that the headlight washers are available, without any confusion, for checking, or MOT. 2.5 seconds is a long time, so easy to avoid setting the headlight washers of in normal screen wash usage.

Can you Confirm yours is one of the later models with dynamic light  assist fitted?

It is. Carista worked very well and the months “free” use was plenty. The app seems to be kept up to date. If you check out the beta stuff available, it includes extra choices for the digital dash.

What extra choices are there for the digital dash? I’ve got a Carista but the free month is up, didn’t go Beta but might delve back in if there’s cool stuff there!

I didn’t study the options too much, so can’t remember, but it didn’t persuade me to go beta. Someone in a car mag said that the guy who signed off white needles on white gauge markings should be fired. I’d love red needles for my digi-dash!

see I’ve been thinking about that, and was wondering if vcp maybe able to maybe change the colour in the AID map, if the AID map is actually downloadable then redesigned and re uploaded again, but I’ve looked and can’t find anything in the long codings or adaptions,
