Have just bought a 4000 mile old GTi on Brescia alloys and P Zero tyres. Love the ride of the car, but am pretty worried that the wife’s going to make a mess of my unmarked wheels, so was wondering about changing them. My question is, do the 18” Parkers change the way the car rides? And will the profile of the 18” tyres give much more Kurb protection? Also, if anyone in the South West England is interested in doing a wheel swap, drop me a message (but they will need to be mint!). Cheers 

Congrats - I too have just purchased a GTI 7.5 and really enjoying it!

I have 18” Parker’s on my GTI that are mint and not a mark on them whatsoever with good Bridgestone Tyres on and will be interested in a swap if yours are also in VGC?

No pointing swapping diamond cut alloys for diamond cut alloys - yourmissus will find it easy to mince either set. Get rim protection or big lip tyres, or be prepared to have them painted/powder coated if they do get scraped to hell.

Sorry, don't mean to p*ss on your fire thedude74 but I have to agree with monkeyhanger, 18's aren't going to be a miracle cure to poor female driving!!
