any members offering a sat nav update service, cos i be buggered if i can get it to work.
2017 clubsport ed 40    19" bresicas, pure white, 5 door, dynaudio, rear view camera, recaro buckets, winter pack.

not as simple as they make out is it, i can imagine vw charge the earth to do it too!
be good if there was a trust worthy member that would be willing to do them for a fee,
i would imagine they be a few takers.

Are you using the download manager, or saving the new maps to your hard drive and then dragging and dropping the files onto the VW SD card?

I couldn't get the download manager to work, but dragging and dropping worked fine.

i only got so far, and s... out of going all way just in case i ruined the sd card.
not the best with computers would rather pay someone to do it for me.

If anybody is prepared to do this, and send out an SD card with the updates on that could just be slotted into the appropriate hole, I'd be interested as well

My OH is away this weekend and is letting me borrow her laptop so I can try to update mine. If it goes badly I could be joining this list too... :rolleyes: :laugh:

I'm giving it a go soon. If I get it working, I can probably get some cards sent out. My initial estimate is that £10 would be fair, but I'd have to look at it.

I spend all day everyday on a computer, with a lot of working with removable disks - I'm an electronic engineer. I don't wish to sound big headed, but if I can't get this working, then I think VW need to rethink their update process!
