FAO 205 OWNERS
« on: 27 October 2003, 10:54 »
205 owners,

Ditch the pug (some burberry cap, shellsuit wearing tosser will buy it off you), and buy yourself a nice Mk2 Golf GTI.  Then you will be just like us.  You can then come in here and we can have sensible conversations about the best hot hatch ever.  Go on, you know you want to.

Cheers

PS We will even pretend to be interested about the exact definition of torque.

If I could, I'd have both :)

There's a couple of Golf cabriolets in the car park that tempt me everyday, just haven't got the space or the cash :(

Its obvious they all want golfs or else they wouldnt be on here.  They know deep down that Golfs look the bollox and 205s look crap.  They might as well just come out and admit it and get themselves a golf!

nowt wrong about a 205 except the friday afternoon build quality and the piss poor metal they use to construct them.

I'd have a 1.9 if someone gave it to me.

(I'd sell it to re upholster my Recaro's though -  :D)

the 1.9 205 was a good car in its day had one about 10yrs ago not a bad motor quick and handled well but they are fekked when they reach 100k,build quality aint too clever,I know a guy who`s in the   dentmaster line of trade.Called him up the other week to take a couple of dings out of my Mk2 but he had fractured his wrist a few weeks ago and says he is now doing light duties till he is fully fit,so he is working on 206`s and 307`s in the meantime.. :)
