Uprated rear anti roll bar
« on: 22 January 2018, 16:59 »
Hello all. I'm considering getting an uprated rear anti roll bar from ST suspensions for my car. I was wondering if anyone has one of these, or one from another brand, and what their opinion was of it? Thanks, Craig

I had a white line adjustable rear ARB on my mk6 and it was great

Also had the bump steer kit and castor adjusting lower wishbone mounts

I have the ST Suspension RARB and its definitely worth it, only £130 at Awesome GTI and a breeze to fit. Car is a lot more pointable and flat in corners

Ordered the thicker Clubsport S anti roll bar before Xmas, not fitted it yet but was quite reasonable at £88.

Any part numbers for this? Is it a dealer part?

Did you happen to measure the diameter of that by any chance? Would like to see how it compares with the CS one and some aftermarket options.

ARB's are usually the best vfm suspension mod in FWD cars, the equivalent of a stage 1 remap for the chassis

I have no particular complaints with my CS but I would imagine it shares the same rarb with the standard GTI so for £88 I could easily try the CSS option if it stands somewhere between stock and aftermarket options which I'd imagine are thicker.

Yep order straight from the dealer or buy online, a few on eBay for around £106 inc delivery.

My understanding is that the CS shares the same ARB as the GTI Performance in the U.K.

Both ARBs are hollow, with the CCS being the same size externally but with 3.6mm thicker tubing.
