Some things they can do, some things they can't. I suspect the servicing they won't give you.

I know its weird, but its all about different buckets that the money comes from in the same bank account...

Here we go.

They matched carwow. Invoice price 29114 - 1500 vw deposit is 27614

2000 down from me then 366 a month for 4 years, 8k miles per year, final balloon 11880

I have been told this is the absolute lowest. They shrugged off drive the deal pricing and wanted a proper quote - how do I do this? I tried the advice, said I want to buy from you, instead of another dealer so how about we meet in the middle. Nothing. Only negotiating for 1 hour so I'm hoping there is still room.

Drive the deal invoice is 28558 so my dealer is 550 off drive the deal.

4 month wait for the car at the moment. Nothing in stock on my spec.

I haven't gone for any deal sweetners, for example haven't asked for a full tank or see what they can do about throwing in a 2 year service plan at 149.

Quote is valid till the end of the month.

Any advice, Im not usually good at this kind of thing, please help!

The one thing that you have to understand with Vw dealers is that the price they pay for the vehicle is not the same all over. They get different discounts depending on the numbers they contract to sell... So maybe your dealer can't get right down to dtd price.

That's what they were saying, they cannot go lower and would walk away from the deal. Is that sales talk or have I hit their lowest?

What do you think on a deal sweetner, is a full tank acceptable? I understand from another post the service plan may not be available to ask for.

Try a different dealer, tell them you spec and your that maximum budget is £350 per month with £2k deposit, if you can't be bothered to shop around anymore tell this dealer that you'll do a deal at £360 per month, that more or less splits the difference between their offer and DTD.

I'd negotiate with the cheapest or most local Carwow dealer, and ask them to try and match DTD.

These guys are the most local and the cheapest out of the 5 offers funnily enough. I will try haggling again and see where I get to.

Are you dealing with fleet sales or a forecourt salesperson?

If your dealer doesn't have a fleet sales dept, that might explain why they have less margin to offer.

I hate that!!  Why can't the manager just come out and do the deal or not.
