Morning. Has anyone had any luck setting up their passenger side mirror to dip when reversing? The function is enabled, but when trying to follow the set-up instructions detailed in the user guide the option to configure the amount of dip for each user profile is missing. Any help appreciated!
I think i have the same problem, my mirror just tilt a little bit. Not enugh..

Can you adjust that?..
You should be able to adjust it if it's the same as the MK7 to tilt fully down to see the kerb. Turn on ignition, put the mirror adjuster into L, put car in reverse and then adjust mirror knob to tilt mirror and then that it.
It is programmed to whatever ignition key you used to set it so if you swap keys a lot then you will need to set it up on both.
Oh and you may need to turn it on in the settings on the info unit.
Sounds like gti-travels is having more technical issues with it though but above is how to set it.
