Help...Im also in the colour conundrum...I know youve all heard it before

I have ordered Isaac blue but after doing all kinds of searches and also comparing to the old mk6 graphite blue I am beginning to second guess...this photo of a mk6 graphite blue R has really put me off! BORING and UNINSPIRING!

After all my research I have reached the conclusion that the lighter shades really do justice to the beautiful lines of the mk 7,5 gti.
So now I am seriously considering Indium grey ( thanks to Wides posts) and tungsten silver... I know silver is common, but theres something about the tungsten tint that for me just really sits beautifuly on the gti, add the red accents and I think it looks amazing.
Anyway...if you can be bothered I would appreciate your views.

Not sure if this really helps, but I originally ordered IG then after seeing Tungsten in the wet, on a Tiguan, decided Tungsten looked fantastic. A week later took the wife to see my new colour choice (in the sun) on a gti and this time the colour looked quite different. I have now gone back to IG. I guess you really need to see the colours in the metal.

Graphite blue was a hard one to photograph well... but believe me, when the sun was out and the car was clean, it was unbeatable.

That is a beauty Joe....but, how was the colour when the sun wasn't out and the car was dirty? Was the blue still vibrant or did it look a bit 'navy'

Yeah it looked a bit flat, less blue and more dark grey especially when dirty. But let's face it, all of the colours look best in bright sunshine when the car is sparkling. The light really changes how they look.

Indeed it has. I posted this in the missing foglight thread:

My GTI arrived at the dealership today and they delightfully informed me that the fog lights are there, despite being warned that they wouldn't be 4 weeks after I placed the order mid March. It seems that some got them and some didn't after all.

That brownish purple maskerading as a shade of black is a dreadful colour. Makes it so much easier to swallow the upgrade cost for any other colour.
