So they are going back to work next week to build our cars.

Ok thanks, that explains why my order has stood still then, if it wasn't done by the 3rd it was always going to be BW30 all along

Rather have a car built after a nice break than one of the last few they rushed through whilst in "holiday mode"...

Mine took 6 days but now trying to stall mine until September 1st bit dealership pushing me to take delivery which is not good.

Did you tell the dealer before the car was moved from the UK dock to the dealers that you wanted to wait until September?  If you did then why didn't he just leave it at the dock until mid August?

No i didn't unfortunately as it just jumped on the tracker from build week to arrived in UK which was very annoying

My GTi white silver ordered Apr/May is scheduled for build week 31. Called the dealer yesterday and they said it would be with them w/c 4th Sept 17....just as I fly out on holiday for a few weeks
